Age of Olympus: every unit, price and counter
Legends legislate. 13 units, from 65 to 380 gold.
The Age of Olympus fields nine gods, a hero, two legendary beasts and a Titan. Each card carries an identity mechanic on top of its doctrine — bloodlust, plague, panic, judgment bolts — so every unit changes the rules of the fight around it.
Olympus castles fight back in character too: oracles throw lightning from the walls and the forge hurls meteors. Spells hit hardest in this age, at double their medieval power.
The Age of Olympus is a specialty age: it is picked on the setup screen and both sides play it for the whole battle. Spells cast in this age deal 2× their base damage. The fliers of this roster are Hermes, Zeus — troops without a ranged attack cannot touch them.
How to fight in the Age of Olympus
- The Kraken feeds on nearby deaths and regrows torn arms. Fire cauterizes it and stops the healing cold.
- Pan's panic routs troops back toward their own keep. Do not stack a push in front of him.
- Zeus and Cronus are the top of the price list. Bank for one only when your line can hold without the gold.

Ares
Line infantry120 gold
God of war. Ares does not circle wounded stragglers or borrow courage from a pack: he marches into the densest fighting and breaks the rank himself. His hoplon catches frontal arrows, every nearby death stokes faster feet and faster blows, and mounting bloodlust widens each xiphos cut through more bodies. Deny him a battle and the war god cools.

Kraken
Regenerating brawler160 gold
The sea-born eight-armed leviathan, the Age's legendary beast. Crushing tentacle sweeps bind a bounded rank at honest reach; every nearby death feeds the Black Tide, and a fully fed Kraken strikes faster, harder, and drags the field into a maelstrom. Torn arms regrow in water-dark light, but fire cauterizes the flesh and stops that healing cold.

Apollo
Ranged, anti-air65 gold
God of sun and plague. His light arrows infect their prey; Apollo follows the sick carrier until its death passes the rot into a nearby rank. Healing suppresses the plague. He favors the sky when no infected quarry calls, and a single solar step can foil one diver — the next catches him while it recharges.

Pan
Anti-cavalry80 gold
God of the wild. Pan walks through plain infantry and plants his shepherd's crook only when cavalry, a giant or the Titan closes: the set crook strikes first, hooks a charge off its feet and bites +60% into giants. Crowd him and one blast on the panpipes routs every lesser ground body in earshot for a beat — they turn and run for their own wall while the crook works. Braced shields and giants keep their nerve, and the pipes need a long breath before the next panic.

Athena
Shield wall95 gold
Goddess of wisdom and disciplined war. Athena fights as Promachos: prey still beyond her point eats a hurled spear on the approach, and the shaft re-forms in her hand for the thrust that follows. She chooses one vulnerable ally behind her as her ward, plants the Aegis when that formation is threatened, and intercepts frontal arrows meant for that ward. Strike her in melee and the Gorgon opens its eyes: stone slows the attacker while Athena answers with a measured spear counter.

Hercules
Duelist140 gold
The mortal-born strongman in the Nemean lion's hide. Hercules seeks strength rather than price: giants, mighty champions, and walls are worthy contests. His olive-wood club sends ordinary troops flying and staggers them, with a two-body follow-through, but braced ranks and rival giants hold their ground. Arrows glance off the lion skin for half damage.

Cerberus
Caster160 gold
Three-headed hound at the gates of the Underworld. Cerberus intercepts enemies pressing his line: the center head mauls the lead body while each side head can bite one nearby foe. Spread the approach, fight from the air, or hold beyond the hound's short neck reach.

Hermes
Air interceptor90 gold
Messenger and trickster of Olympus. Hermes skims the line, intercepts exposed runners and fliers, then drives the caduceus through his mark and races past before the reply. A longer approach adds bounded momentum to the dispatch; catching him after the pass is the counterplay.

Poseidon
Cavalry180 gold
God of the sea. His hippocampus chariot gathers a visible bow wave while the lane stays open. The wave-ram breaks and pushes light troops, then Poseidon answers with a quick trident thrust. Exposed archers and casters draw his charge, but a body in the lane must be broken first; set pikes and braced ranks stop the surf cold.

Hephaestus
Siege200 gold
God of the forge. His bronze automaton throne hurls white-hot ingots into the densest ground ranks; their fire stops all healing. Close the range and the throne plants its six legs while Hephaestus answers with hammer, tongs, and a short forge-blast instead of retreating. Blind to the sky, and most efficient against crowds.

Hades
Summoner210 gold
Sovereign of the Underworld. Hades claims nearby corpses as bound Shades, then advances behind them and marks threatening prey with his bident. Shades obey the mark or intercept for their lord. Kill Hades and every bond disperses; cremation denies him a body.
- 380 HP
- 55 damage every 1.6 s

Cronus
Giant340 gold
The Titan of time, released from Tartarus. His adamantine scythe deliberately reaps a bounded rank and AGES survivors; their stolen years quicken his next harvest. Braced shields deny the theft, set pikes punish his commitment, and Pan's planted crook receives the Titan's approach.

Zeus
Air superiority380 gold
King of Olympus. His storm cloud holds beyond melee reach and weighs every enemy inside its lightning range before condemning the most expensive. Every third bolt is a heavier, staggering Judgment. Archers can bring the stationary court of heaven down; ground melee cannot reach it.
